I took this camera with me when I left home not sure about next future. I knew I was going to live a few unstable months across Macerata, Rome and London. So I decided to take the camera to write notes of this period; It had to draw a line through the places, marking my point of view through different sceneries. Presence, coherence and evolution of my way, like a river through cities that takes and gives. I finished the roll when I felt this sort of cycle was over: coming back home starting new things here. It had to be about all this things but all in all everything ended up about running behind girls I guess ;). Only I remember a few names Stephanie, Marie in a cold white Bethnal dawn mislead by the fact we both like arctic monkeys. a missed call i didn’t reply. But hey!) It doesn’t really matter cos we had to go anyway. We can’t stop it cos we don’t know how. Life it’s a river. Let it flow.

A lo largo del año, la tierra está cambiando constantemente. Las estaciones van y vienen dando forma al paisaje alrededor del mundo. Sin embargo, aunque sea extraño, el sol es siempre el mismo en cualquier lugar donde estemos, los copos de nieve tienen la misma composición y los arboles devuelven el mismo aire que respiramos. Los humanos, aunque completamente distintos, en escencia somos lo mismo. Este trabajo apunta a mostrar como mi vida cambió este último año, de Sudamérica a Norteamérica y de vuelta, mostrando lugares que conocí y personas con las que estuve.

Throughout the year, the earth is constantly changing. Seasons come and go shaping the landscape around the world. However strange, the sun is always the same anywhere we are, snowflakes have the same complexion and trees give back the same air we breathe. Humans, even tough we are completely different, in essence we are the same. This work attempts to show how my life changed this past year, from South America to North America and back, portraying places I’ve been and people I’ve met.
